When Creativity Knocks: Recycle Plastic Bottles!

I love to recycle plastic water and liter bottles into craft projects! I have done many projects over the years; but when I saw these Pumpkin Luminaries, I thought that they were a “FAVE”ulous idea! An easy and very inexpensive way to decorate for Halloween. I can just see these lining my walkway as the neighbor children come to our door to trick or treat. Don’t stop there, you can do the same process with water bottles and line your windowsill with them looking out on that spooky night.

All you need is Krylon Fusion for Plastic ® spray paint (I have personally used this product and give it an A+) and a few other items* and you will be ready to create your own pumpkin patch! Here’s a tip: Substitute battery operated tea lights in place of real candles for a safer Halloween (and they won’t blow out). For easy to follow instructions, click here.
