Top 5 Basket Crafts

My mother collects baskets. For as long as I can remember, a ring of baskets has circled around the tops of the kitchen and breakfast room walls. Most are antiques, though some are new Longabergers. On a side note, did you know that the head office for Longaberger is a giant basket-building? Looks as though giants left behind their picnic basket. Anyway! Because of my mother, I’ve always had a soft spot for baskets. They are a handy and attractive way to store just about anything. Here are my top five favorite basket crafts at FaveCrafts:

Willow Basket- This is a great, low-cost decorating ideas. Update a plain wicker waste basket by painting accents. Try bright colors to match your decorating scheme if you prefer. If you have a circular basket, use painter’s tape to help you paint stripes of color.
