First up was the paper crafter extraordinaire, Sue Eldred who is the lead designer for McGill, shared some experiences as a craft designer that is great information for people who are interested in getting into the craft industry. Sue also talked about her great Wedding projects like her Save The Date Cards, Wedding Invitations, and Wedding Placecards. Her helpful tips about picking colors, getting supplies, and customizing your wedding.
Sandi Genovese is a familiar name in the craft world from her work on television with her DIY Network show, Scrapbooking as well as being a popular craft author. She talked to Pat about her great new videos available on her website as well as her Framed Silhouettes project video featured on FaveCrafts. She also shared how to create a simple scrapbook using envelopes for her Mini Envelope Scrapbook project.
Amanda is quite the internet butterfly and she shares all the cool jobs she works on currently and in the past. She also talks about some of her kids crafts available on FaveCrafts like her Hanging Bird Treats and Edible Bird Nests which are great to work on with the kiddos.
Vickie shares her thoughts about yarn, knitting, and crochet. With her new yarn on the market, with her Stitch Rock Love line from Caron International, Vickie is always working on a great new project like her Blue Slouchie Beanie or her cool Subway Scarf which is great for the special guy in your life. She also dishes about juggling family and craft which is great information for crafty moms everywhere.
Amber calls in to the show all the way from beautiful Hawaii as our last guest. She is a talented seamstress and has some great projects on FaveCrafts like the Fabric Scrap Pouch which is made with pieces of scrap fabric or her iPad Cover Tutorial. Amber also shares her struggles with finding time to craft which seems to be a reoccurring theme. She also loves to quilt and talks a little bit about how she stores her supplies.
