Sometimes faux flowers are just better than the real thing. They’re cheap, they last forever, they won’t wilt, and they make fun craft projects! You can make faux flowers out of felt, fabric, tissue paper, coffee filters, and more. Here are some cool tutorials from around the web:
- Felt Flower Name Tag from Whatever Dee Dee Wants
- Felt Camelia Pattern from How Joyful
- Fabric Flower Wedding Bouquet from Running with Scissors
- Fabric Flower Cupcake Topper from Paiges of Style
- No Fuss Paper Roses from Paper, Plate, and Plane
- Crepe Paper Flowers from Martha Stewart Weddings
- Coffee Filter Roses from Aunt Peaches
- Wedding Napkin Flowers from MADE
- Felt Dahlia Brooch from Holidash

CLICK !! This just went into my fave-list – so I can get to it again. It’s crazy what it costs for 10 cents of paper dyed and put in a fancy container – I’m up to be able to make two flowers now – am going to try newsprint next.
