Kids Saturday: 3D Flowers

Posted by Christine on July 10th, 2010 at 09:11am

This weekend is going to be a good one, the kids are finally out of school for the summer and they want to have some fun. The flowers are in full bloom so why not bring those flowers inside. This weekend take your kids to the crafting table and make some 3D flowers.

3D flowers can be so much fun for your kids to not only make, but then they can play with them. The flowers will never wilt or die. It’s an easy project to make too! Here are the materials you will need:

1 – toilet paper tube
1 – glue stick
1 – chenille stems (pipe cleaner)
1 – black marker
1 – Pair of scissors
2 – googly eyes
3 – colored construction paper (pink, green, yellow)

Watch this cute 4 minute video to learn how to make this adorable 3D flower!
