How to make Lollipop Valentine Mice

Posted by Kelly on February 12th, 2009 at 02:47pm

These valentines are incredibly easy to make.  Help your child make them for the whole class in just 4 easy steps.

Materials:

  • Red and Pink Construction Paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Colored Markers
  • Lollipops

Steps:

  1. Take the red construction paper and cut out a heart shape that is about 5” wide at its largest. Fold the heart in half.
  2. Glue the edges of the paper together, starting at the tip and working your way down the top of the back but leave the tail end open.
  3. Using the pink construction paper, cut out two small hearts.  Fold these in half and glue on the body near the point for ears.  Dot on eyes with the marker.
  4. Insert a lollipop in the unglued end with the rounded end in first so the stick is poking out.  It becomes the mouse’s tail!
