How to Make a Halloween Mask

Posted by Christine on October 20th, 2009 at 09:14am

You only have 11 days until the spooky ghosts and goblins fly throughout the night. This still leaves you with plenty of time to prepare as long as you work fast. You can make your own decorations and costumes to look the way you want it. I just wrote a great article on how to make a Halloween mask. There are so many varieties of masks to choose from. It can be an accessory to your costume or it can be the whole costume itself.

My favorite part about making a mask or even a costume is that it’s all you and it’s all yours. Your creativity goes into it, your thoughts go into it and it’s made by you with pride. A few neat masks you can make are:

Gold Devil Mask- Embellish a wooden mask with gold accents to create a dazzling mask for a Halloween costume.

Cat mask- Using acrylics, rhinestones and a boa. You can be the cat’s meow all night long. This is a cute little mask your kids might be able to wear if they’re cat lovers.
