Home Decor Tuesday: Decorating with Styrofoam

Posted by Christine on January 19th, 2010 at 01:51pm

When you think of styrofoam you think of crafts or packaging materials. Well not any more. I’m going to make you realize there are plenty of things you can make using styrofoam, including home decorating ideas. It’s time to spruce things up and get crafty.

Apple and Pineapple Over-the-door Swag- Bring some seasonal warmth to your home with these fruity ensembles. This whole piece is based on styrofoam.

Ball and Cube Tabletop Sculpture- Here you can transform your styrofoam shapes into beautiful pieces of art work. This uses a creative technique.

Flowers and Hearts Arrangement- This would look great on your fireplace mantel or somewhere in the front room. This is a great arrangement that will look amazing in your home.

Techno Metallic Wall Art
- This is one of my favorite pieces of wall art. Modern flair will add to the greatness of your home. Styrofoam keeps you updated and classy.

Sphere Moss Decorations- Moss sheets cover these styrofoam balls to give an eco-friendly look. In only three easy steps these can be decorating any room in the house.
