Barbara needs help with a Music Theme Quilt,
I am looking for a music theme quilt. I think there was one in my May issue of Quilt? I have lost my issue.
Victoria wants to Crochet a Doll Blanket,
I’m looking for an old crocheted doll pattern. I think it was called Blanket Baby. It’s a crocheted doll with blanket attached. Any idea where I can find it? Thanks for your help.
Can you help? If so, post your answer in the comments.

I have a pattern for a crocheted doll and a carry-all basket. If you’d like it, just give a yell. I got it from Mon Tricot about 25 years ago and made it for my niece. She just had her 1st daughter and is going to pass it along to her.

Hi
My mom made one of these dolls for my first son…yes, a boy…lol…he’s 30 and we still have it. I will look to see if I got the instructions when my mom passed away. Hope I can help. I also have some old Annie’s Attics that maybe it will be in. You might want to google also. Might be faster than my search.

If you type all the address above, it will have the pattern for “Paula’s Blanket Baby” written in one long paragraph. Copy it into a “Word” page and add spaces where needed for easy reading. If you want it already done, email me for a copy.

You can get the doll parts you need for the Blanket Baby pattern at http://www.joycescraftsupplies.com She carries a 4″ and a 31/2″ doll face w/ hands. Also Annie’s Attic.com or a place called Michaels. There is also Ben Franklin’s Hobbies and Crafts, or Hobby Lobby or a Wall-mart store. These places may not still be existing or supplies could be obtained via a Google search.

I have a copy of a pattern called Bundled Beauty, which is from Annie’s Pattern Club Magazine dated June 1980. I made this for my daughter who is now 36 years old and her little daughter now plays with it.

there is a music theme quilt shown in the march/april issue of Fons and porter’s love of quilting magazine. I am going to be using that one myself! I had seen one other design in another issue of one of the quilting magazines in my search for them but can’t remember which one it was and i didn’t like it as well for what i am doing. happy quilting!

Victoria, you can find the pattern you want at
http://crochetpatternsonly.blogspot.com/2009/05/puppet-boy-in-blanket.html
one of the best places to search for patterns is Bev’s Country Cottage, she posts VERY simple patterns AND links to other patterns; all are very easy, I think. (www.bevscountrycottage.com)
Enjoy!
