Posted by Caley on November 11th, 2009 at 05:00am

Dottie is looking for crochet patterns to decorate a dollhouse. She asks,

I would like to know if anyone out there has any dollhouse size patterns for rugs, bedspreads or anything else in crochet.

Can you help? If so, please post a comment in the blog. If you haved designed a dollhouse-sized pattern, we’ll publish it at FaveCrafts and credit you. Contact us.

Crochet Pattern Central has a few, and the members of Crochetville Forum also submit sometimes with instructions.

I did a search for barbie doll crochet and found a lot of patterns that worked well in my dollhouse.

My sister crocheted dollhouse afghans using sewing thread and a size 10 or smaller crochet hook and sold them in Florida years ago. They were tiny Granny squares and she sewed them together with a needle. Good luck!

Maybe you could find some small doily patterns or just use the middle of a bigger doily to make a rug or bedspread. Size 10 thread comes in a variety of colors.

Annie’s Attic has a 64 page booklet of crochet dollhouse items. It costs $19.95. See it on the link below:
