Help a Reader: Crochet Trains

Posted by Caley on February 17th, 2010 at 05:00am

Reader Amanda asks,

I would like to see some crochet projects with trains on them like afghans or even toys.

Do you know of any crochet train patterns? Maybe even a complete crochet train amigurumi? I want to see that!

Answer in the comments! Awesome suggestions might even win a craft prize, sent by the FaveCrafts editors. =)

There’s a cute choo choo pattern on the e-patternscentral.com website you can download to your computer. I made about half the train then set it aside for another project, but one of these days I’ll finish!

crochetworls.com has a Locomotive Afghan in the December 2009 issue. You can take a subscription to this magazine for about $15. They will let you download magazine for up to 2 years back. that’s how i got this one. It is great and I am sure you will love it. It come with a graph so you could cross stitch it for a picture to hang on the wall. Good Luck
