First Day of School Picture Frame

Posted by Candace on September 23rd, 2009 at 09:26am

Every year, I have a picture of my child for her first day of school.  This year, I decided to get creative with her picture.  I wanted something to represent school while still decorating the picture.  When I think of school, I think of pencils.  Therefore, I came up with the idea to make a picture frame out of pencils.  It is such a simple way to frame out the picture that any school-age child could do it.  Teachers can also have their students do this with a picture as a class project.  It could become a Christmas gift from the child to the parent’s by just using Christmas colored pencils.

Check out the School Picture Frame at my website, OneMinuteCrafts.com. My family crafts website is unique in that each craft has a one minute instructional video.  All of my crafts are inspired by my three children, ages 1, 4, and 8.
