2. There aren’t many cute, heart-shaped things that make acceptable male Valentine’s Day gifts, but no one could turn down mini cheesecakes. Last weekend I bought two mini springform heart pans to make my boyfriend chocolate raspberry Chambord cheesecake. Mmmm.

1. Everyone loves fresh flowers, but they are a bit pricey in our current economic climate no? I really appreciate rose alternatives for Valentine’s Day with a bit more staying power.
