Sharyn designs quilt fabric, stamps, stickers, die cuts and lots of other products. She is the author of two craft books published by Lark Books. Her fingers are perpetually stained and callused because when she’s not cutting paper, she’s doing calligraphy or painting, bent over a letterpress printing project or knitting. Sharyn blogs relentlessly and is never without her camera. But even better than making things, she loves being with friends, so sharing it all combines everything she treasures most. Sharyn travels the world teaching crafts classes and snipping out passengers’ portraits on Royal Caribbean cruise ships and believes with her whole heart that real life is the best fairy tale.

In this episode, Sharyn asks the question, “Do you ever find yourself exhausted by the demands of career, family and the whole world around you?” Maybe you’re in a creative rut. Time to escape and get a fresh vision, new ideas and a complete inspirational jump start. Sharyn will give you ideas for throwing a crafty retreat that you can actually pull off with a minimum of time, effort and cash.
