Fawnda Norman is a former junior high math teacher who turned stay-at-home mom when she adopted her son from Korea about 1-1/2 years ago. Being on a budget really challenged her to think of ways she can do things herself and reuse materials that she already has. She enjoys sewing, paper crafts, repurposing, and all things creative. She co-authors a DIY blog called Fireflies and Jellybeans with her best friend Jeannine.

In this episode, Fawnda will be talking about one of the biggest trends out there – the mommy craft blog. Moms are showing off their creativity to the world through the social networking of the blog. The mom blog community is caring, supportive, fun and exciting!

Lydia Fiedler, is a marketing and social media expert, has an MBA from St. Edward’s University, an MA from the University of Texas Austin in Slavic Linguistics and a BA in English from the University of Rochester. Lydia was featured in the Austin Business Journal after creating an award-winning orientation program during her service as an HR Director and Training Director. After looking through thousands of resumes and conducting hundreds of interviews, Lydia knows what it takes to get in the door. Lydia is a lifelong paper artist and worshiper of crafts, and has laid her hands on every craft product known to man or woman!

In this episode, Lydia will be discussing the mission of Handmade Careers, how and why she started it and how it is helping artists find their dream jobs in the arts and crafts industry, and raising the recruiting bar for employers.

Kathy Antoniotti is a staff writer at the Akron Beacon Journal, a daily newspaper in Akron, Ohio, winner of four Pulitzer Prizes. She has been writing the Kids Krafts column each week for ten years. She makes the craft that is featured each week, researches the topic that is the focus of the craft and writes the column. Crafts revolve around local, national and international news stories and holidays, focusing on the background and history of the event.

Debbie Murray and Shea Fragoso are a mother/daughter artistic team who collaborate on art pieces, classes and retreats in a 100-year old gothic church that they remodeled in Dallas. When Shea was growing up, Debbie taught stained glass classes in the community college system and owned a custom design business and fine art painting studio. When Shea finished school, they owned gift shops together in Southern California. Shea became a highly sought after jewelry designer; her creations appeared in dozens of fashion magazines and graced the red carpet several times.
