Etsy Pick: Indie Fashion

Posted by Kelly on February 18th, 2009 at 11:47am

Well it’s Fashion Week in New York City and let’s just say I’m a little sad that I couldn’t be there this year.  I got to go a couple years ago when I was working as an assistant fashion editor and it was one of the best, most exhausting experiences of my life.  So in celebration of the tents in Byant Park, I wanted to feature an indie fashion creation.  Etsy made it easy for me today by showcasing Rubypearl as this week’s featured seller — her work is so great!  It’s incredibly unique, combining different techniques of construction like sewing, crocheting and incorporating vintage fabric to create beautiful, bohemian one-of-a-kind garments.   Admire her work or pick something out for yourself  in Rubypearl’s Etsy Shop.
