DIY Bridal Veils

Some of you may already know that I am getting married next summer. In any case, I’m trying to make everything as cheap as possible, especially with the way the economy is now. I’m trying to find cheaper dresses for my bridesmaids, get the best of the flowers with a low cost and I think my mom will be making my veil. She did in fact make all three of my older sister’s veils. There are a lot of DIY veils out there.

I wish I was as crafty as my mom, so I could make my own veil, but I think it only makes it that much more special if she makes it. For those of you who have daughters that are getting married soon you should think about this. It saves you money and there’s some sentimental value to it. If you have a flower girl standing up in your wedding you can save money on her headpiece as well, just buy a few materials and create that beautiful piece. I absolutely love the Swarovski crystals; I think they are so gorgeous and just add the perfect amount of sparkle to anything really. That would be a great touch to your veil. Does anyone have a veil pattern or picture with Swarovski crystals on it? I would love to see if my mom could make that for me!
