Cute Flower Girl Ideas

I went to a wedding last weekend and I had an absolute blast! I’m trying to get as many ideas as possible for my own wedding. They had a photo booth for one, I think that was the best part of the night, but that’s besides the point. My latest dilemma in planning my wedding is if I should have a flower girl and ring bearer. I know I would have one of my nieces do it and one of my nephews as well, but I just don’t know if it’s necessary. There will already be flowers on the ground and the best man will most likely have the ring. I love “my kids” to death and I would love to have them walk down that isle, but I don’t even get to see them since I’ll be the last one out. I know I’ll take pictures with them all dressed up, but still. Anyway, so this wedding we went to had the cutest flower girl ever. She had her hair up in curls with a cute flowered wreath is what I called it. I pictured my niece wearing the same thing. I thought the bride could have easily saved some money by making her own flower girl crown instead of using real flowers.

Another really cute way to decorate your little girl’s hair is to just use a headband. These can be made so easily and later on she can keep it to play wedding or princess. I’m telling you, this little girl’s hair was cute and my niece has the same kind of hair, so it’s making this decision quite hard.

I also figured that if I do decide to have her in the wedding we can make her a dress instead of going out and buying a big fancy thing. There are plenty of really cute flower girl dresses that you can make and it’ll obviously help you save money. You can also be a little more creative because you can choose the colors and details.

So, what do you think? Should I have a flower girl and ring bearer in my wedding? You have to help me out with this one!

I think it’s always fun to have a flower girl and ring bearer. You always get the oohs and aahs from the guests. However, I’ve seen plenty of weddings that didn’t have them and they worked out just as well.

If you are having a wedding with many guests and lots of family I would go with the flower girl and ring bearer. The flower girl in particular will never forget this special moment in herlife.

Yes as long as you have the little people to fill the jjob. I am a wedding planner and designer, so I work with weddings all over the midewest. The little ones create some of the best wedding pictures and wedding memories you will ever have. They don’t have to be perfect at their jobs. Just being there sometimes makes the whole wedding perfect for everyone.

Yes I make wedding clothes and flower dresses all the time. The important thing to remember is dress according to their age. They are little girls and boys. Their dresses can be very simple and still look very pretty. You might want to use a casa satin, because it will cold water wash and still look nice.

If you have more questions you can e-mail me and I will be glad to help you. I do alot of sewing long distances from my shop
