Christmas is almost here can you hear the cheer? Since my fiance and I moved into our place we’ve been buying all sorts of decorations for the walls, now it’s time for Christmas decorations. We have our 7.5 ft tree so now we need the lights and the garland and of course the tree topper. I’m not sure if we’ll get a star or an angel. Angels can be very pretty, but also very pricey. Maybe I can make one for us. The crochet angel topper is quite the beauty; it’s elegant and a perfect touch for your tree. Another angel topper I came across was from craftown.com. This angel can be made with a halo on top.
I love the look of crochet and making a crochet angel would be so special, it would just make the tree look exquisite. A crochet ornament that can also be used as a tree topper can be found here. It’s one dimensional, but she’ll do the trick. She can be hanging around all year long. So get crocheting those angel tree toppers, your time is limited.

When my folks got married in November 48 years ago, they received a box of Christmas decorations as a wedding gift. What a great idea that was, since they didn’t have a lot of money to invest in decorations as newlyweds. Now, when young folks I know move out on their own, I try to give them Christmas decorations so they don’t have a bare tree. I usually try to make a tree skirt, some ornaments, and then some filler, glass ornaments so they have a head start. Mom has a crochet ornament from her Aunt that comes out every year, so if you tackle one, it will surely be a special item for years.
