Craft Room Tips and Tricks:
Using shoe racks and hanging mesh/cloth shelves helps me be able to see what is in storage.  Plus it gives me space to rotate out supplies from the tables if I need more table top space to work a particular project.

Hey, Hey! I did that in my kitchen and bedroom!! Great Minds. I hung one over the closet door near the kitchen to keep spice packets and bottles in, easy to see though the clear plastic, and I hung another in the bedroom closet for belts, scarves and knicknacks. I have another hung on my bathroom door to hold things like deordorant, my favorite conditioner, shampoo, my hair accessories, combs brushes,my cats meds, It’s very convenient, but I don’t have one for my crafts! Duh, Thanks for this article, I’m gonna get another to hang and sort my crafts

You have some very interesting ideas for storing supplies! I never thought of using shoe storage hangers for supplies. Thanks for sharing and now I am thinking…..

I use alot of the hanging storage units also. The best ones I have found have been for jewelry. They have lots of small to medium slots to hold the items I have for projects. Also small drawer units you can buy at local hardward sotores are great you can label the front and always know what you have with out looking through each drawer.

Great ideas…I use baskets for storage, clear plastic bins with lids, and tackle box units to hold beads, buttons and small objects. Also plastic vegetable bins are very handy to hold misc items like fabric, wreaths, and ribbon
