Bread Dough Roses

Posted by Caley on July 13th, 2009 at 08:52am

I’m not a fan of white bread, maybe because I grew up in a health-food house where white generally meant EVIL or maybe just because I hate how white bread gets soggy more easily and I like my sandwiches sturdy. Whatever the reason, I have never bought white bread in my life. With her most recent project submission to FaveCrafts, Heidi Borcher might just change my mind about white bread. She shows FaveCrafts how to turn white bread into a kind of dough for making roses. She uses this idea as a basis for a Bread Rose Jewelry Box. I’m sure you could also use these roses to adorn wood picture frames, decorative boxes and other items. These sound strange but are permanent decorative accents. Neat!
